Medico-legal experience relevant to my work as a dental expert witness
I have completed training with Bond Solon in Report Writing and Courtroom Skills and have attended training at Capsticks for experts and advisors for the General Dental Council. I complete around 200 reports per year and examine Claimants at my modern private consulting room in South London. I am able to offer Claimants appointments on Saturdays.
I am an active member of a closed group for dental expert witnesses and through this I have set up an online library of research papers for members to share useful papers of relevance to legal cases.
I am also a member of the Dental Law and Ethics Forum, attending their regular meetings held at Hempsons Solicitors.
Through my AVMA membership I have written an article for the publication 'Clinical Risk' on the topic of cosmetic dentistry. I have also written an article entitled "The Stress of Being Sued" for Dentistry magazine, and have been an interviewee for the popular Protrusive Dental Podcast with my "Ten Commandments for Staying Out of Trouble".
I can accept instructions through agencies.
I charge £750 plus VAT for a standard breach and causation report. My hourly rate is £175 plus VAT.
